1. The following items are included in our tour rates:
A. DOMESTIC FLIGHT
Airfare of economy-class for domestic flights as stipulated in our itineraries. First or Business class ticket will cost 50% extra. Children over 12 years are charged adult fare and kids between two and 12 years old pay half-price.
All land transfers to and from airport and tour destinations as stipulated in itineraries will be by air-conditioned vehicles.
C. LUGGAGE HANDLING
Luggage handling is included in our tour rate. A luggage van is provided for large groups to transfer luggage to hotel and other destinations and the cost is included in our tour rate.
D. LUGGAGE ALLOWANCE
In accordance with aviation regulations in Nigeria, the free luggage allowance within Nigeria is 20 kg. economy-class, 30 kg. business-class and 40 kg. first-class. Plus limited carry-on luggage. Excess baggage charges are the sole responsibility of the client. All suitcases must have a locking device.
The best accommodations will be provided at hotels specified in itineraries and are based on double room occupancy in twin-bedded room (where available) with private facilities. Participants without room mate can pay the single supplement or be paired with another tour member. No extra charge for children under 12 year of age when sharing room with parents. Extra bed will be charged per room night and extra breakfast added per person.
Meals as listed in itineraries are included in the tour rate. Our meal is a standard meal which includes breakfast in the hotel and lunch and dinner at local restaurants. In itineraries, (B) stands for Breakfast in hotel, (L) stands for Lunch and (D) stands for Dinner in the hotel or a local restaurant.
G. TOURS / EXCURSIONS
Your tour will be a visual delight with opportunities to visit interesting destinations and meet interesting people.
H. TOUR INFORMATION
Prior to arrival in Nigeria, participants will be forwarded with instructions concerning all aspects of the tour such as itinerary, photography, documents, clothing, safety, insurance etc.
I. TOUR GUIDE
Tour guide and driver services are included in our tour rate.
J. ENTRANCE FEES
Entrance fees at tourist destinations as listed in itineraries are included in our tour rate. Request visit to destinations not listed in itineraries will attract extra charge for entrance fee, transportation and guide services.
K. TRAVEL INSURANCE
The land aspect of our tours is covered by travel accident liability insurance for every tourists group. The client or his/her dependant will be compensated in case of physical injury or death. Insurance will cover costs of medicines, medical treatment and travel accommodation charges.
L. TIPS & TAXES
Service charges by hotel, restaurant and government taxes are included in our rate. Tips to drivers, guides and other helpers are not included. Tips are discretionary but customary provided client is satisfied by service rendered.
M. RESERVATION & PAYMENT
Reservation for our tours and travel services can be made directly with Jemi-Alade Tours or via participating airlines or travel agency. A deposit payment of 20% of tour cost is required to confirm reservation. A reservation will not be confirmed until a deposit payment is received. Wire transfer charges must be paid by the client. By sending a deposit payment, the client agrees to abide by our terms and conditions. Final payment must be made at least 30 days before arrival.
N. CANCELLATION & REFUND
We will regret a client's decision to cancel any reservation. However, if the client decides to cancel reservation for any reason, a written notice of cancellation must be forwarded by fax or email. The following cancellation fee will apply according to when cancellation is made:
Up to 31 days prior to arrival ---------- US$50.00 per person
30 - 15 days prior to arrival ---------- 20% of tour price,
14 - 07 days prior to arrival ---------- 30% of tour price,
06 - 03 days prior to arrival ---------- 50% of tour price,
02- Day of arrival or while on tour ----- 100% of tour price,
Tours and travel services by Jemi-Alade Tours are arranged by Jemi-Alade & Associates Limited (the Company) in partnership with travel contactors/ suppliers. The Company promises to provide comprehensive service with regards to leisure and business trips as advertised. It shall in particular provide standard accommodation, meal program, guide, transport and other services as specified in the itineraries and booking form subject to availability of such services at the time of reservation and subsequent confirmation of such services to the client.
The Company reserves the right to adjust its tour rate in the event of currency devaluation and cost increases; including increase in airfare, hotel rate, entrance fees or fuel surcharge. However, if full payments have been received, the Company will absorb all loses and will not charge the client extra for increases. For the smooth operation of any tour, the Company reserves the right to accept or reject any person as a tour participant, to expel any tour participant from a tour, to make changes in an itinerary or to cancel a tour at any time if it becomes necessary due to unforeseen circumstances. The company will make a refund of any unused portion to the client.
Tours always include some activities which require care attention. All activities are undertaking at the client's own risk. The Company and her agents can not be responsible for any action or events that occur after its said agents have exercised their duty and taken the necessary care. The Company will not be responsible for any adverse occurrence due to a client's failure to comply with tour rules and regulations.
The Company reserves the right to take photographic or film records of any of its trips, and use any such materials for promotional and commercial purposes.
Jemi-Alade & Associates Limited, as a tour operator, acts only on behalf of Hotels, Bus Companies and other contractors / suppliers providing support services in connection with the tours and travel services and assumes no responsibility howsoever caused, for any wrongful or negligent acts, omissions, personal or property loss or damage in connection with any service rendered by contractors / suppliers. Our travel services are subject to all international travel rules and responsibilities.
