NIGERIA: Seme, Badagry, Lagos.
This is a short Destination Nigeria Tour as an extension of your tour of West Africa. You will enter the country from neighboring Benin republic through the land border town of Seme and visit the historic town of Badagry, a slave trading port during the infamous Atlantic slave trade. Then you will experience the vibrant metropolitan city of Lagos a world mega-city and commercial center of Nigeria and west Africa. It is the largest city in Africa with a population of over 21 million people.
Day 01: COTONU – SEME – BADAGRY – LAGOS
- Depart Cotonou for Seme border post of Benin and Nigeria. Meet and assist with border formalities and transfer to Badagry. On arrival, embark on a tour of ‘Badagry Slave Route’ including slave trade museum and relics, Seriki Abbas compound, Gberefu beach (Slave embarkation point), First Story Building in Nigeria, etc. Lunch is at a city restaurant. Proceed on to Lagos and check-in on arrival at your hotel. Dinner and evening at leisure.

Day 02: LAGOS
- Lagos (local name Eko) the vibrant commercial capital of Nigeria founded about 1630 is located on the Atlantic coast of West Africa and composed of islands, mainland & peninsula. A drive through Lagos Island, Victoria Island and Lekki peninsula areas of the city with stops at national museum, Freedom park, Brazilian Quarters, Eko Atlantic city (A major city development), Tinubu square and Isale Eko old section of the city, promises an exciting sightseeing tour. Lunch is at a city restaurant. During the tour, arrangement is made for shopping at Quintessence shop selling African gift items. Return to hotel after tour. Dinner and evening at leisure.

Day 03: LAGOS – DEPARTURE
- After breakfast, embark on a half-day city tour of Lagos including NCF Conservation Center, Nike Art Gallery, Lekki Craft Market etc. A boat ride on the lagoon to visit Tarkwa bey is the high point. Lunch is at a city restaurant. Late afternoon transfer to the airport to catch onward departure flight. End of tour.
